How to get there…

We are located about 30 minutes by car from Graz. The Graz-Thalerhof airport is only 20 minutes by car. You can visit the wine-town Leibnitz within a short 5-minute drive.

From Graz

Take motorway A9 (Phyrnautobahn) to head south, direction Spielfeld/Slovenia – Exit Leibnitz – then turn right and stay on the same road for another 3 roundabouts. At the next crossroads, after the third roundabout, go straight on and cross Laßnitz Bridge. After 200m you can see our hotel to your right hand side on the foot of Kogelberg.

From Vienna

Take A2 direction Graz – at the junction Graz-west change to A9, direction Slovenia, Exit Leibnitz (about 2hours, 15 minutes by car)

From Linz

Take A1 direction Salzburg/Graz/Passau until Exit A9 direction Graz – follow A9 in Graz, direction Slovenia, Exit Leibnitz (about 2 hours and 30 minutes by car)

From Salzburg

Take A1 via Vienna/Linz – change to A9 direction A8 Passau/Wels/Graz – keep right at the junction, direction A9 – follow A9 direction Graz/Kirchdorf – in Graz follow direction Slovenia – Exit Leibnitz (about 3 hours and 15 minutes by car)

From Leibnitz

From the western end of the main square take Augasse direction Kaindorf, reach feeder road Sulmtal. Cross Laßnitz Bridge, after 200m you can see our hotel to your right on the foot of Kogelberg. (about 5 minutes by car)

From the Sulm valley

Pass Heimschuh, follow feeder road and turn left 200 meters after the access to the Seggau Castle. (about 5 minutes by car from Heimschuh).

By train

Reach us by railway with the Intercity from Vienna (about 3 hours) or Graz (25 minutes) or take the local passenger train (40 minutes).

You can get off in Kaindorf an der Sulm or in Leibnitz, then it is another 5-10 minutes by taxi.

To Gamlitz on the South Styrian wine trail (Südsteirische Weinstraße)

Slip road A9 from Leibnitz to Slovenia – Exit Vogau – direction Ehrenhausen – follow B69 to Gamlitz – turn left in the center of town to access Weinstraße (wine trail) (about 20 minutes).

To Maribor

Slip road A9 from Leibnitz to Slovenia (about 30 minutes) Don’t forget to apply sticker (vignette) on your windscreen (toll road!)
